APPLICATION PROCESS
- On the next page, you will be asked to select the grant you would like to apply for. Please review each grant and its requirements prior to starting the application.
- Select "Apply" on the right of the screen when you are ready to begin the application.
- On the next page, select the grant you'd like to apply for based on your eligibility. You can only apply for one grant.
- You will then be directed to the selected grant's application form, where you will begin to fill out the information and upload all of your supporting documentation.
- Once you have completed the application, sign in the box at the bottom of the page and timestamp the application by selecting 'Record Now,' then press 'Mark as Complete.' This action indicates that you have finished and are ready to submit your application.
- On the next page, you will have a 'Review' button, which allows you to check your application for any errors or missing information before final submission. Once you are ready to submit your application, press 'Submit.' You cannot change your application once you have submitted it.
Important to Note:
- If you apply as an organization, you will have to verify the organization with an EIN confirmation.
- You can save and return to this application at any time before the application due date. Simply press "Save and Continue Editing" at the bottom. If you have not filled out all of the questions, it will give you an error saying "Form Contains Errors." This is because you have not completed the application, but it will save your progress when you leave the page or log back on at a later time.
- Applicants must complete the application in its entirety. Points will be deducted for incomplete applications. If you cannot answer a question or if it is not applicable, please briefly describe why it cannot be answered or enter “N/A.”
- Please ensure that the event's name is included in the name of all required attachments and supplemental documentation.
- Applications must be received no later than Thursday, August 1, at 11:59 p.m. CST. This deadline is firm and late applications will not be considered.
- If you have any questions, please click the “Help” button in the top right corner and select “Contact Site Administrator.” All questions and answers will be available on the online portal.

Coastal Mississippi Marketing & PR Grant
Coastal Mississippi's Marketing & PR Grant allocates funds to support tourism marketing and public relations for partners in Harrison, Hancock, and Jackson counties. The grant aims to stimulate economic activity and increase overnight visits in Coastal Mississippi. By leveraging our tourism partners' marketing budgets, the program seeks to enhance the economic impact of tourism in both the region and the state.

Coastal Mississippi's Community Grant is a fiscal allocation of funds dedicated to providing marketing and production support for community events or activities in Harrison, Hancock, and Jackson counties. The purpose of the grant is to assist with the marketing and production of established events to enhance the overall attendee experience to improve the quality of life within our Coastal communities.
MAX AWARD: $1,000
Note: This is a revised program and differs significantly from previous Coastal Mississippi event grants and programs. This grant is for single or half-day community events that take place in Coastal Mississippi and improve the quality of life within the community.

Coastal Mississippi Cultural Events Grant
Coastal Mississippi's Cultural Events Grant is a fiscal allocation of funds dedicated to providing tourism marketing and production support for cultural events in Harrison, Hancock, and Jackson counties. The purpose of the grant is to assist with the marketing and production of established events to grow attendance and enhance the overall visitor experience at the event to promote Coastal Mississippi as a premier leisure destination for year-round visitation, increase overnight visitation, and grow the tourism economic impact in the region and the state.
MAX AWARD: $20,000
Note: This is a revised program and differs significantly from previous Coastal Mississippi event grants and programs. This grant is for multiple-day events that take place in Coastal Mississippi and that generate room nights in Coastal Mississippi.
